2018 Jeep Compass scores five-star ANCAP safety rating
The 2018 Jeep Compass has been awarded a five-star safety rating by independent local crash-testing authority, ANCAP.
Scoring 35.93 out of 37, the Jeep Compass achieved full marks for the side impact and pole tests, along with a best-possible ‘good’ rating for whiplash protection.
The Jeep Compass is the fourth model in Jeep’s line-up to score a five-star rating, following the Renegade, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee.
“At Jeep we are committed to safety and are pleased with ANCAP’s 5 star rating on Compass,” said Steve Zanlunghi, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia CEO.

The ‘Safety Pack’ will be offered from 1 January 2018, priced around the $1000 mark in Sport and Longitude variants. Stay tuned for an official announcement!
